Brent is on a distinguished road
I agree with you, ball control is going to be key here in the final 15

Altidore coming on for Davies....I always like to see Jozy on the pitch but I think Ching would have been the better move off

And I'm about to declare a civil war, this is bull****. Just everybody go out and pick fights with mexicans. Davies hurt on the ground and they ****in run up and grab him in his grill?!?

Then Dempsey took a shot to the throat too!

#17 on with fresh legs lets see what he can do!

Well, I guess the lesson today was: If you can't keep the ball a little, you can't score. Sure it sounds like common sense, but it was definitely the theme of the day.

Yeah yeah, I get it. Aztec Stadium is insanely difficult to play at. I've said that enough. We choked. Bottom line, if people expect us to be at the level of the #12 team in FIFA, we should at least hold on for the tie. This happened against Brazil and now Mexico with the complete disregard of possession. I don't care how good Bocanegra and Onyewu are, you just can't win against World Cup-caliber teams by clearing and defending with an occasional offensive long ball. At some point, you need to clamp down, slow the game and control yourselves. This game should have been a draw, which is a big accomplishment in itself. Eventually, we need to actually learn how to have a midfield offense. With Altidore, Davies, Dempsey and Donovan, we have too many attackers that look to spread the field. Show some restraint and don't force it if it's not there.
