Brett Favre is...not.... DONE!

Hallelujah! Favre has decided to STAY retired for once, unless he changes his mind yet again. As usual, Favre's poor timing will top off a mostly successful career with disappointment from fans at how he kept another franchise hanging in the balance. I, for one, am happy we don't have to listen to John Madden, talk of Brett Favre, or John Madden talking about Favre. The world is at peace again.

WCCO-TV in Minneapolis cites a high-level source with the Vikings as saying Brett Favre will sign on Tuesday. The Hattiesburg Laurel Regional Airport reports that Brett and Deanna Favre boarded a plane with a Vikings logo and were headed to Minneapolis. Multiple reports confirm that Favre is en route and will sign with the Vikings later today. The latest reports back FoxSports.com's Jay Glazer's prediction that Favre would join the team shortly. Favre accomplished his goal of avoiding training camp and will be handed the starting job with three weeks to prepare. Source: WCCO TV Minneapolis Related: Sage Rosenfels, Tarvaris Jackson, Vikings
Think again Brandon. Brett is back!

I bet John Madden feels blindsighted. He probably only retired because he thought Favre was done.

Has he re-retired yet? Oh wait, I would have heard about it 24/7 on ESPN if he had...
