Caught some of ESPN's First Take this morning and they had Patrick Crayton in to debate the usually annoying Skip Bayless. Crayton went out of his way on several occasions to defend Terrell Owens. I found that interesting because truth be told, with Owens, Williams, and the up-and-coming Miles Austin, Crayton wouldn't have gotten any snaps, so I think it speaks volumes about media-fan perception not being able to get over some of their premonitions about a specific player.
Crayton smartly answered the question "Will the Cowboys be better this season without Owens?" by replying "We'd better be better. It won't be because Owens is gone, but we've got to be better than 9-7 with or without him."
Good answer Patrick.
