Icon8 Whats with the Rules?

I hope you are all as big of fans as I am when it comes to "watching" and under standing football concept and rules.

I did not know that tackling the QB was a "flag" now. I mean come on why not just put a flag on his belt and removed the "pads" because they are a waist of money.

Patriots vs. Buffalo
We all know about the "Brady Rule" because well they make up some dumb rule every year because a big name player gets hurt right... right. But when a D-lineman can come blitzing up the gut and nobody touches him and the QB back peddles 10yrds to get back and right as he throws the ball the lineman lays out for him. AS THEY ARE TOLD AND PRACTICE TO DO. And the lineman hits him in the gut with his face mask, wraps his legs up and takes the QB down.... last I was told thats good football. But in this case its a 15 yarder for hitting the quarterback low.... I mean come on. I could understand the "no head to head contact" but they have gone way to fare now. If your arm even touches the QBs head is a 15 yarder. If you touch his legs its a 15 yarder... so where do they want the QB to get hit?

Now in the same game a ruffing the passer call is called on the Patriots for again tackling the QB. ONLY CATCH is the QB still had the ball. Now last I was told if the QB is pulling away and fighting to get away you can "tackle" him... not TOUCH him. The Lineman again gets to the QB. This time on his back and starts to drive him back. The QB pulls back to the line of scrimmage and lineman rolls him over on top of him as he goes down and lets him go. The QB falls on his back. .... TWEET TWEET TWEET.... 15 yarder for ruffing the QB... come on this is football... he if cant take a "hit" then get out of the game.

San Diego vs. Oakland
You know... This replay from the booth is a good thing but who ever said you had to maintain the ball in the endzone... if you did? I know bone head question right.
Rookie Wide out for the Oakland Raiders gets a nice pitch and catch in the endzone late in a game to put his team ahead... well we all thought he did. But according to the rules he dropped the ball. The wide out catches the ball ... that was easy to see. He gets 2 feet in the endzone. Gets hit.. ok thats fine.. and he still maintains possetion of the ball. Falls to the ground "ball first" and by rule the "Ground can not cause a fumble but can cause a wide out to lose a TD" lol. But still you have to maintain possetion of the ball after you make contact with the ground.. thats fine and dandy. Only bad thing about this is when I looked at the video... as well as the press box announcers. He still had his arm/hand under the ball when he hit the ground. It was only when the wide out started to get up that he, in my eyes, lets go of the ball starts to get on his knees and grabs the ball again and starts his first ever endzone celebration.

Now Im sure that was a TD I dunno last week. So why did they over turn it this week? I dunno... the rules are getting way to out of hand. What do you think? I mean come on when you cant even touch a QB anymore can you call it football? This game is getting to the point I cant stand watching it.

Now dont get me wrong I dont car about either of the games because well Im a Cowboy fan. But thats not the fact of the matter. How can you call back a TD and give two flags for tackling a QB like you have been told to do since you where like 10 years old? I hate to say it but NFL football has gone soft of the last few years. Since they came out with that " horse caller" rule its almost like who ever sits up there thinking of rules has ran out of things so hes just making rules on how you cant play football now. Are they tiered of NFL football and want it to die off? Because making rules like that is a good way to do it.
