The opening kickoff to the Steelers goes back to the 40 yard line. And we're off!

You won't see many safeties make plays like the one Polamalu just made. He's re-writing the textbook on covering the entire field.

Good game last night. The Steelers defense didn't give up the big play, and stayed strong despite losing Troy Polamalu. Roethlisberger had a good fourth quarter, and the Steelers coaches outcoached Tennessee.

What was up with Tennessee putting the game on Kerry Collins shoulders with just over 2 minutes to go? A running team needs to run the ball there, not stop the clock with incompletions. It didn't end up costing them the game (at that point), but it sure could have, especially with that awful 28 yard punt.

Hopefully Polamalu comes back sooner rather than later. He's one of the funnest players to watch, and I love watching that defense fly around. People, you should all enjoy what you're watching right now, because defenses like this one don't come along too often.

I wish the Steelers would have passed more. Tenn was having huge problems covering and falling for Ben's pump fake. There were a few 3rd and 3's that they ran and I wish they threw. They are starting to turn into more of a passing team with Ben. Last year he showed he can run the no huddle and be extremely effective. The Oline worries me some. I was not impressed with them at all. They did have some really good plays, but on a consistent basis, I think they need to improve a lot if they have any hopes of repeating. Parker also gives me some concern. He just cant seem to get it done. When Pittsburgh had a very good line, he excelled but now it seems as though he cant get out of his own way. Moore was more effective tonight. A good win against a really good team.

Kerry Collins played really well last night. He seemed to avoid sacks and move around under pressure pretty well. He also was distributing the ball well and making smart decisions so I don't have any problem with them calling on him when they need him. One thing for sure is Tenn. is not going to fall off this year b/c of the loss of Haynesworth. I think Tenn could have won the game if the blitzed more. Ben had more than early game jitters. He had pressure up the middle from Tenn. For some reason they changed their game plan and started rushing only 4. They should have been blitzing 5 or 6 more often, especially knowing Pitt couldn't get their running game going. I like what Tenn D did for the most part but their are still some questions IMO.
