Things Looking Bleak for the Giants?

So the touted depth on the defensive line is turning out to be non-existent with guys such as Chris Canty (torn hamstring) going down to injury. Also, the wide receivers aren't looking to be very promising, even against 2nd and 3rd team defenders in preseason games. Even though preseason holds no weight, I think the Giants have to be worried that some things just aren't falling into place the way they'd hoped. A trade for a guy like Brandon Marshall could go a long way in helping the team, but after Burress, I don't know that they want to deal with another big-headed receiver. Thoughts?

The Giant's D-line had questions going into last season as well. Kiwanuka....out for the season, and Strahan gone were good enough reasons to raise some questions. Well they ended up bouncing back even better than the season before. Although I hate the Giants, they always seems to have the right guys waiting to step up and I'm confident their D-line will still be one of the best in the league. In fact on both sides of the ball they are some of the best. Receiving corp is probably their biggest worry heading into the season. Ummm Marvin Harrison is still unemployed right??? Ya thats what I thought.

Yeah Giants aren't going anywhere this year because they have no receivers... that and the fact that I would take almost any other quarterback before Eli Manning. It won't matter what their defense does. Stack that line for the run everyone because the Giants can't pass!

Yeah Eli Manning has never really impressed me. Gotta wonder why they didn't pursue someone like Boldin this offseason too.
