Say what you want about Dirk Nowitzki....

I'm sure we have all heard of the issues of him and his ex-fiance' since they went public a little while back. I read an article today about the unborn child that won me over.

"On June 12, Nowitzki's attorney filed a petition in Dallas County, Texas, requesting that genetic testing be conducted upon the birth of Taylor's child in order to determine paternity. Nowitzki wants sole custody of the child if it's proven he's the father."

How many celebrities and athletes have negated their obligations as parents? Alot of them. Just the fact that he wants children and says that it's his goal says alot. And you'd think with his high level income and celebrity status, finding a vagina shouldn't be a problem. Dirk's probably the kind of guy that looks for a real woman, and not a gold digger, and this one was good enough to fool him.

Side-note, I'd let Dirk knock my girlfriend up if it meant we could hang out.

Yeah I have to agree with you. As much as I haven't been able to stand the guy, what happened to him really sucks, and the fact that he is going out of his way to try to take care of it using a hands-on approach is pretty awesome, especially considering the circumstances.
