This is just a thread to address my curiosity. Theoretically of course, if you were to compose three baseball teams, divided by race (whites, hispanics, african-american), which team would be the best?

So, what do you guys think? If you're bored, make a lineup for each race for us to see. If you don't have the time or motivation to do that, just share your opinion. Again this isn't to prove any point, and it's not meant to be racist. I'm just curious. I'm going to post my rosters is a little bit. By the way, this is an all-time roster.

Just as a preliminary opinion, with rosters to come later, I'd have to say hispanic takes the gold (assuming that includes the Dominican Republic). I'll post my rosters later. I like this topic. Keep in mind it isn't meant to be racist, people. It's a legitimate question, so don't take it too seriously, so we can all be mature about it.

Oh, one more thing. Are we talking current players, or is there a specific timeframe you'd like to follow (ie. Players in the past 5 years, considering the career as a whole, etc.)?

I was thinking of all time taking their careers as whole. I'm going to through in hispanics/other which include Dom. Rep., Asian, Midgets, Mixed Race. I think the white team would definately be up to par pitching wise, maybe the best of the 3...but the difference between the Hispanic/Other teams hitting, and the White hitting would definately make up that difference.

3B - Chipper Jones
SS - Honus Wagner
LF - Ted Williams
CF - Mickey Mantle
RF - Babe Ruth
SP - Walter Johnson

BLACKS:

2B - Joe Morgan
3B - Judy Johnson
SS - Ozzie Smith
LF - Barry Bonds
CF - Willie Mays
RF - Ken Griffey Jr.
SP - Bob Gibson

OTHERS:
C - Ivan Rodriguez
1B - Albert Pujols
2B - Roberto Alomar
3B - Alex Rodriguez
SS - Omar Vizquel
