New York Times

Ok, so now the famed New York Times is reporting Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz were among players on the now infamous list of players that tested positive in 2003. I, for one, am sick of this. The New York Times either needs to release the entire list or don't release it at all. Personally, I feel that if they were told it would be confidential, it should be kept so; I don't care care about the sacred nature of the game. Baseball cannot recover from a period that is long gone if the media doesn't quit trying to hurt the sport, while on the other hand whining that baseball needs to recover.

I think the list should stay confidential or release all names. Most of the PED's the players tested positive for where not on the ban list at the time of testing so technically they weren't doing anything wrong. If I'm a professional athlete and their is some supplement that will increase my performance that is not banned then I know I'm gonna take it.

Absolutely. To compete in professional sports, you have to take every advantage you can get. Just look at the body suits swimmers are using now (that are about to be banned).
